Our Story
Huggher was born out of a simple question: why does warmth and comfort have to be so inconvenient? Two founders — one Swiss entrepreneur, one former Olympic freestyle halfpipe skier — set out to change that.
It started with our girlfriends. Both of them suffered from period cramps and kept saying the same thing — nothing out there was truly comfortable. Every solution was half a solution. A hot water bottle that slips. A heating pad with a cord. A regular hoodie that does nothing. We sat down and asked ourselves: what if one hoodie did everything? The result was a hidden inner pocket sitting directly against the belly, engineered specifically to hold a hot water bottle securely — so warmth stays exactly where it's needed, hands stay free, and comfort is finally complete.
.Luis Vogelsang is a 25-year-old Swiss entrepreneur from Zürich with a background in e-commerce, brand building and performance marketing. Rafael Kreienbühl is a former professional freestyle halfpipe skier who competed at Olympic level — someone who knows cold, knows recovery, and knows exactly what the body needs after a hard day. Together, driven by the women closest to them, they set out to build the most comfortable, warming hoodie ever made — designed to ease pain, reduce anxiety, and wrap you in the kind of warmth that actually feels like a hug.
.We launched in Australia first because the timing is perfect — Australian winter starts now, and the period pain and wellness community here is one of the most engaged in the world. Australian women were already improvising our exact concept, sliding hot water bottles into their hoodie pockets. We just built the version that was made for it.
They bring warmth, comfort and cosiness to the world of the cloud people.
Because just like in real life, there are days when you feel tired.
Days when everything becomes a little too much. Or moments when you simply need a hug.
